State officials have announced that 95 percent of New Jersey municipalities – including Allentown, Millstone Township and Upper Freehold Township – will receive Municipal Aid grant awards totaling $161.25 million this year.

The New Jersey Department of Transportation (DOT) has awarded approximately $4.3 million to municipalities in the 14th Legislative District through the Fiscal Year 2019 Municipal Aid Program.

Somers Point received a state grant that will improve bike access to Ocean City, officials said. The bike-path grant will improve the Route 52 Causeway that connects 9th Street in Ocean City to Somers Point.
