The Division of Local Aid and Economic Development supports improving pedestrian and bicycle access to transit as well as off road trails and bikeways through its various state and federal grant programs. Active transportation improves health, equity, and quality of life. These stories show how Local Public Agencies, NJDOT, and other partners are working on projects to improve their communities. These stories are GIS-based and are intended to be a resource for those looking to venture out on these trails as well as inspiration for future trail projects.
When complete, this will be a 60-mile loop along the upper portion of the Delaware River estuary connecting Camden, Philadelphia, Trenton, and Morrisville.
