The Murphy Administration announced a change in the New Jersey Department of Transportation’s (NJDOT) Municipal Aid Grant cycle to better help municipalities plan and construct important infrastructure projects.

The state Department of Transportation announced nearly $20 million dollars in federal grants for transportation projects in Central Jersey.

Somers Point received a state grant that will improve bike access to Ocean City, officials said. The bike-path grant will improve the Route 52 Causeway that connects 9th Street in Ocean City to Somers Point.
