The Division of Local Aid in collaboration with SJTPO, DVRPC & NJTPA will be offering One-on-One Pre-Application meetings for the Safe Routes to School grant program.

NJ LTAP has just posted an online training for developing ADA Basic Requirements, Self Evaluations and Transition Plans for Public Rights of Way. This video is approximately 23 minutes long, and explains basic ADA requirements for local governments, self evaluation, and developing transition plans.

The New Jersey Local Technical Assistance Program is already busy re-scheduling our postponed workshops for later this year. We are also exploring bringing some topics to you through web-based learning.

This course is designed to help local road agencies, engineers and public works personnel reduce the incident of traffic crashes through the application of practical low cost “best safety practices” geared to local/rural roads.

This course will review basic concepts in probability and statistics and their application in designing traffic control features and regulating traffic.
