Registration is now open for the Value Capture Webinar Series beginning on June 20th, 2019. Value Capture refers to a toolbox of strategies used by public agencies to capture a portion of the value generated by public infrastructure investment. These are powerful funding tools that can help address funding gaps, can be part of the mix of funding sources for transportation improvement solutions, and can accelerate project delivery, save time and money, and enhance safety when done properly.

Interested in learning the application of individual value capture technique use to capture the benefits created by transportation infrastructure project, faster and more effectively, while also achieving system performance goals and accelerate the project delivery process? Interested in funding and financing strategies for a needed program of projects? Then please join us to learn more about Value Capture techniques, including case studies that are being practiced by lead agencies around the country. Instructions for non-DOT attendees and Federal DOT staff and DOT-badged contractors:

Registration Process for Non-DOT Attendees

  1. Non-DOT users including State DOTs must request access to the FHWA External Portal for webinars to request an account. Step-by step instructions on how to request an account are available.
  2. Non-DOT users including State DOTs must login using the email address used to request access to the site and their requested password. The account issuance takes approximately one business day. Once you receive the account information, you can access the site by clicking on the registration link and logging in.

Registration Process for Federal DOT Staff and DOT-badged Attendees

Federal DOT staff do not need to register for an account. However, please register for each and every webinar you, and others, anticipate attending. A head count for the number of phone lines is important. You can register as individuals or as a group, as long as there is one phone line used. Use the link provided that is unique and distinct for each session.

There is no cost to participate in these Webinars and they are open to everyone who is interested. Each Webinar will last 90 minutes with 60 minutes allocated for presentations and 30 minutes for audience Q&As. Through the use of Web conferencing technology, participants can view the speakers’ presentations on their computer and hear the audio portion of the presentations either via the computer or telephone, depending on preference.
