The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) today announced the first grants in the new Local Freight Impact Fund program totaling $30.1 million to help municipalities provide for the safe movement of large truck traffic.

New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) Commissioner Diane Gutierrez-Scaccetti today announced $161.25 million in County Aid to help make infrastructure improvements on the local level. This funding was doubled in Fiscal Year 2018 to become the largest County Aid grants in New Jersey history and this year’s grants maintain that amount provided to counties across the state.

The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) today announced 47 Local Bridge, Future Needs grants totaling $47.3 million to help counties maintain local bridges in a state of good repair. These are the largest bridge grant awards in New Jersey history, almost doubling the amount of funds previously provided to counties across the state.
