The Division of Local Aid is transitioning to the Department’s end-to-end online Project Management Solution: PMRS!
PMRS provides a platform for online collaboration between Local Public Agencies (LPAs) and NJDOT staff. It enables efficient project management, including automated tasks, an electronic document routing and management system, electronic review and approval, easy project tracking, and monitoring. The new platform will make it easier for everyone involved to track, monitor, and know the status of submissions and projects at every step of the way
Implementation will be a phased strategy. Phase I includes eleven (11) State Aid processes, which will kick off the 2022 Municipal Aid, Bikeways, Safe Streets to Transit and Transit Village programs. Training will begin with Municipal Clerks, Engineers, and Mayors
What Early Testers Are Saying About PMRS
“I found the PMRS system to be fairly intuitive and straightforward. The best part of the program is being able to check on the status of the project whenever you want and knowing who to reach out to if a process is not moving.” - Daniel J. Loomis, PE, CME, CFM | City Engineer | City of Elizabeth
“…with this program, our projects will get taken care of on a faster track.” - Meg Cimochowski, Administrative Secretary | Ocean County Engineering Department
“….the software is very user friendly…intuitive and easy to pick up… everything required is spelled out for each process.” - James J. Boegly Jr., Consultant, Remington & Vernick Engineers
