I am happy to share that the solicitation period for the New Jersey Department of Transportation’s (NJDOT) Fiscal Year 2021 State Aid programs, including Municipal Aid, as well as the Transit Village, Bikeway, and Safe Streets to Transit programs, is now open with applications being accepted through July 1, 2020.

On April 13, 2020, the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) announced the grant solicitation period for NJDOT’s Fiscal Year 2021 State Aid programs, including Municipal Aid, as well as the Transit Village, Bikeway, and Safe Streets to Transit programs, is open with applications being accepted starting Monday, April 13 through July 1, 2020.

The state has awarded a $515,536 grant towards the replacement of the Blackwell Street bridge.

Cape May County will receive $2.9 million from the state’s department of transportation, to be used for bridge maintenance, the county said in a release.

The state Department of Transportation on Thursday announced 41 Local Bridge Fund grants totaling $47.3 million to help counties maintain local bridges.
